Guy has been painting all his life, initially his figurative subjects and quest to master traditional painting techniques found little academic acceptance in an art world obsessed with 'concept'. But his refusal to blindly follow fashion and a dogged continuation to paint every day possible, has meant that he has slowly become not only accepted but reveared for his painting skills blended with a distict 'there's something wrong with the world' political narrative.
